  • On average it’ll take me around 3-6 weeks, however I will email you with an estimated time of arrival once the order has been placed.

  • I use premium acrylics on premium cotton canvas. Each piece is varnished when finished to protect from dust and colour fade.

    Commissioned Pet Portraits
    Free shipping on all commissioned pieces within Australia! For international orders, shipping is calculated individually, just email us at laura@artbyboaty.com for a quote before you order.

    Art Prints
    We ship prints to Australia and internationally, with shipping cost automatically calculated at checkout, no need to email us for these.

    A quick note for international customers: depending on where you live, your country may charge import duties or taxes when your parcel arrives. This isn't something we add, it's set by your local customs, so it can vary by destination. Any questions, just ask!

  • Yes absolutely! There’s an additional cost for each pet and I will advise on the best canvas size to fit all pets.

  • Before I start painting you will be asked to approve a digital mock up. Once approved I will paint from this mock up as a reference. However, once you have seen a photo of the final artwork, you will be able to make one small amend to the piece.

  • Yes! At checkout you will have the option to pay in full or to split the payment into 4 easy weekly payments.

  • Art By Boaty is run by Sydney-based Australian artist Laura Boatman, who specialises in colourful, hand-painted acrylic pet portraits and animal artwork.
